Reporting to: Director, Alliance Medical Solutions (AMS) Division
Starting Date: Immediately after contract agreement concluded
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews, identifying potential drug interactions and adverse effects.
- Provide medication counseling to patients on proper usage, dosage, and side effects.
- Monitor medication adherence and implement interventions to improve compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews, identifying potential drug interactions and adverse effects.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens for patients with chronic conditions.
- Monitor medication adherence and implement interventions to improve compliance.
- Monitor pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding drug handling and storage.
- Conduct regular quality assurance audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.
- Conducting health and wellness screenings.
- Keeping accurate customer records.
- Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
- Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Performing other administrative tasks when needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- MSc/BSC degree in pharmacy or pharmacology or related fields of study
- A minimum of five or more years of proven experience as a pharmacist.
- Valid license to practice as a pharmacist is an advantage
- Ability to manage drugs stocks at all pharmacies effectively to avoid dead stocks or expired drugs.
- Demonstrable experience in commodity management and supply chain.
- In depth knowledge of the MOH supply chain processes and procedure.
- In depth knowledge of the MOH supply chain processes and procedure.
Other Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies, such as MEDITECH and Medicare.
