1. Food & Beverage Manager | Debre Zayit (Bishoftu)

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Manager:

  • To oversee restaurant, bar, room service, tea room and banquet operations.
  • To ensure that restaurants and preparation rooms are clean and well maintained, that table appointments, including table setting, cutlery arrangement, and flower arrangements are up to standard.
  • To ensure that the printed menus are correct and no spelling mistakes occur and are abundantly distributed within the F&B outlets.
  • To ensure that all F&B service personnel especially service team are fully aware and in knowledge of the Menu.
  • To ensure that the Kitchen Department operates effectively and efficiently.
  • To ensure that the causes of staff grievances are investigated and the appropriate action is taken.
  • To carry out or ensure that regular On-the-Job Training is taking place especially to new and junior staff.
  • To prepare and submit on the required format all information necessary for budgeting purposes, timely and accurately.
  • To circulate throughout all restaurants, bars and banqueting areas, maintaining a high profile with customers and staff

About You

Education

  • Bachelor degree Hotel management, Tourism and related
  • Oromigna is mandatory

2. Operations Manager | Debre Zayit (Bishoftu)

Job Description

REPORTS TO: General Manager

Working Hour: Highly Flexible

Duties and responsibilities of the operation manager.

  • Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per the category of the unit to receive & serve the guests.
  • Conduct regular operations team meetings with operational HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters.
  • Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks.
  • Monitor the purchase/indent / requesting of each department.
  • Randomly inspecting the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, , expiry, etc) with the F & B Manager and chef.
  • Inspecting all departments with their respective Managers for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
  • Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations and efficient customer service.
  • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
  • Meet all dept. heads to review & train the staff to upkeep the human capital in consultation with the human resources and support team.
  • Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
  • Monitor and maintain operation & overhead costs to maintain maximum revenue for the organization.
  • Be available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems or emergencies.
