Pharo Foundation is establishing a new, high-quality school in Assosa and is looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to transport students and staff safely and on time.
📍 Position Details
- Location: Assosa, Ethiopia
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students and staff to and from school, field trips, and other school activities
- Ensure the bus is clean, well-maintained, and regularly serviced
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Monitor student behavior during transit to ensure safety and discipline
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents immediately to the administration
About You
- Valid Ethiopian Category Public Driver’s License (minimum 3rd grade)
- Minimum of 3 years of safe driving experience, preferably as a school or institutional driver
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and patience
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Clean driving record and references required
