Job Description

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the overall operations of the hotel nightclub, including staffing, security, customer service, training and evaluating personnel, including delegating authority to floor supervisors; inventories, sales goals, profit-and-loss statements; and quality control in terms of inspecting venue areas, maintaining high service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. Plan and promote events to attract customers, such as live music, theme nights, and special promotions Network with vendors, artists, and the local community to maintain the club’s reputation and visibility. Organizes special events, parties, or promotions to increase patronage. Resolve customer complaints or issues, ensuring all customers have a positive experience.

About You

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant education/training from hospitality or business college or related field is preferred
  • Proven work experience as a Nightclub Manager, Bar Manager, or similar role in a high standard and fast paced environment.
  • Proven track record in managing a team effectively, ensuring smooth club operations, and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • International travel and exposure at similar role is an asset.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage financial and administrative tasks
  • Must be able to speak, read write and understand English, an additional language is beneficial
