Job Description
- Organizational Unit: Field Office
- Unit Affiliation: Geographic Regions Department
- Scope of Supervision: Supervising orphanages and programs, participating in the annual campaign, and following up on the evaluation of human cadres working in the orphanage
Tasks
- Following up on the implementation of the procedures of the orphan care manual and the annual plan.
- Periodic visits to the centers to inspect and evaluate the conditions of orphans and orphanages, and documenting appropriate improvement opportunities.
- Preparing and sending the necessary reports to ensure the proper operation of orphanages.
- Monitoring and following up on the quality of implementation of activities and programs according to the standards and specifications specified by the department.
- Analyzing questionnaires of the services provided and submitting appropriate development proposals
- Providing studies on field needs for construction units serving orphans.
- Following up on the process of nominating orphans on time to complete the centers’ capacity.
- Following up on the educational and health status of orphans by holding periodic meetings with the concerned parties (education supervisor, center official
- Director of the educational institution, health center director).
- Following up on the religious and educational status of orphans by holding periodic meetings with the concerned parties.
- Coordinating with local bodies concerned with the social and psychological care of children and adolescents to support and enhance related activities and programs.
- Documenting and archiving orphan outcomes and their success stories.
- Establishing and following up on communication links with orphans after graduation from the center.
- Directing elderly orphans to other development or educational departments, if necessary.
- Reviewing the experiences of partners and similar local institutions to benefit from them.
- Participating in planning and preparing training courses for the orphan project, as needed.
- Analyzing the reasons for canceling orphans and monitoring appropriate improvement plans in coordination with the concerned parties.
