Job Description

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Team Leader Fleet  East Africa Bottling Share Company ( EABSC) works with the world’s most cherished trademark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employ people who are prepared to work with passion and focus.

The position is structured to report to the Depot Manager – Dire Dawa Plant and responsible to supervise the Fleet team and vehicle maintenance management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be sure that maintenance quality and standard maintenance time is kept
  • Implement EABSC systems such as TCCQS,EXIM
  • Inspect and propose fleet image problems and solutions
  • Implement cost minimizing maintenance systems
  • Be sure that fleet image met the standard
  • Fill weekly inspection list and daily performed maintenance
  • Fill and report mechanic check lists
  • Update his knowledge in new technology of fleet
  • Keep his working environment/area and protective clothing neat
  • Fill activities done
  • At the absence of team leader takes the overall responsibility to lead the shift
  • Keep record of maintenance activity, observation and discrepancy
  • Do minor welding works and electrical maintenance
  • Request and keep fast moving and slow moving spare  parts
  • Give feedback on technical and image related discrepancy
  • Carry out any other  duties given by his/her immediate supervisor.

Skills, Experience & Education

  • First Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Industrial Engineering or related field of studies
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience of which 1 year on supervisory position
  • Hands-on experience on vehicle maintenance management
  • Proven ability to effectively manage employees
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
