About Us:
Deborah Pediatric Clinic and Therapy Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care and therapeutic services to children in a warm and supportive environment. We are seeking a professional, organized, and sociable Receptionist & Cashier to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors.
Position Summary:
The Receptionist & Cashier will manage front desk operations, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and payment transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Register patients and maintain accurate records in the clinic’s system
- Process billing, receive payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient privacy at all times
- Assist with general administrative and office tasks as required
About You
Qualifications:
- Diploma/BSc in accounting or related fields
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
- Who can speak English, Amharic, and Afan Oromo
