Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support all digital banking platforms (Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, ATM, POS, USSD, Agency Banking).
- Coordinate onboarding, maintenance, and troubleshooting for users of digital banking platforms.
- Respond to system issues or service interruptions and coordinate with IT vendors or service providers for resolution.
- Ensure system integrity, availability, and compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to branch staff and customers regarding digital products and services.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and training related to digital services.
- Participate in the development and rollout of new digital products and enhancements.
- Conduct competitor analysis and recommend improvements for the institution’s digital offerings.
- Monitor daily usage reports, transactions, and customer behavior on digital platforms.
- Generate periodic reports to track performance, usage statistics, and risk factors.
- Ensure all digital banking services comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Identify and report fraud or security risks related to digital platforms.
- Train and support branch-level staff on the use and promotion of digital banking tools.
- Promote customer awareness on digital financial literacy and cybersecurity.
- Coordinate effectively with stakeholders
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
About You
Qualification and Technical Skill Required
- B.Sc. degree in computer Science, Software engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proven experience with digital banking products, platforms, and operations, including electronic payment systems in Ethiopia.
- Demonstrated ability to research market trends in e-banking and develop profitable, customer-focused solutions.
- Excellent understanding of digital financial services platforms, digital channel operations, and related cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.
- Commitment to compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond promptly to issues and client inquiries.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to deliver measurable improvements in digital customer adoption, platform uptime, and performance.
- Skilled in report writing, data analysis, and delivering professional presentations in English.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in digital banking, IT systems, or electronic payment systems.
- Experience working with core banking systems and mobile platforms is an advantage.
- Knowledge of banking operations and digital trends in the financial industry.
