Job Description
- Organize public stove demonstrations in various towns and selected rural areas. (please refer the detail in Scope of the Assignment)
- Liaise with local government officers, stove producers, and EnDev Core Project.
- Hire injera bakers, cooks, announcers, and assistants.
- Distribute promotional packages, including materials like posters, leaflets, t-shirts etc that are produced by EnDev Core.
- Visit stove producers, monitor activities, and discuss market improvement strategies with EnDev Core.
- Collect audience feedback, sales data, and customer contact information.
- Manage all logistical arrangements, including vehicle rental, air ticket purchases, and payment of per diems to PSD participants, ensuring that payments align with the rates of the organization or consulting firm and do not exceed SNV per diem thresholds.
- Produce banners, ensuring that all banner designs are approved by SNV before printing.
- Submit inception and final reports detailing the promotion process, impacts, challenges, and recommendations.
About You
Required Qualifications and Experience
Preference will be given to organizations with proven relevant experience in undertaking assignments of similar nature and scale, possessing the following qualifications and experiences:
Education:
- Team Leader: Minimum master’s degree in renewable energy, marketing, media and communications, economics, and related fields.
- Marketing and Promotion: Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing management, media and communication, and related fields.
- Business management: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting, and related fields.
Experience:
- At least three years of relevant experience in similar assignments, with evidence of delivering at least two comparable PSDs.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in public stove demonstration, marketing and sensitization campaigns.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects with a minimum team of four personnel including: 1-Team Leader, 1-Financer, 2-4 Marketing ad Promoter
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and written skills in English, with knowledge of local languages and the ability to present data concisely and clearly.
Competency:
- Thorough understanding of Ethiopia’s improved/clean cooking sector.
- Good understanding of the country’s current national energy and development priorities.
- Trusted, ethically, and committed to delivering premium quality service.
- Creative and diligent to meet deadlines.
- Understand and adhere to SNV values.
- Must be a legally registered firm.
