Job Description
Develop AMF’s Strategic Plan for 2026-2030
Background:
The Dr. Ambachew Mekonnen Foundation (AMF) is a non-profit organization working to advance democratic governance, social justice, and inclusive development in Ethiopia. As part of its organizational capacity development, AMF seeks a qualified consulting firm to develop a Strategic Plan for 2026–2030.
Objective:
To facilitate a consultative and participatory process that will:
- Define AMF’s strategic objectives for 2026–2030
- Identify key priorities and intervention strategies
- Develop a realistic action plan and monitoring framework
- Align internal governance and operational systems with future goals
About You
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in CSO policy development and governance frameworks in Ethiopia
- Proven track record in facilitating strategic planning for CSOs
- Strong knowledge of civil society strengthening and institutional governance
- Ability to deliver in English and Amharic
- Time management
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving
- Strategic planning
