Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The role of the Director, HC Department is planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling human capital management, center of excellence, Human Capital Operations, HR Business Partnering and other employee service activities of the Institution. He/she handles manpower planning, recruitment, placement, promotion, transfer, demotion, and procedures in the contexts of hiring, discipline, employment termination, salary, other benefits, leave, equal opportunity and other related human resources issues.
2. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling human capital management, center of excellence, Human Capital Operations, HR Business Partnering and other employee service activities of the Institution;
• Develop HR strategy and Employee Value Proposition of the company.
• Develop talent acquisition and onboarding strategy
• Develop EPM strategy and systems of undertaking EPMs
• Develop HRM Policies, procedures, guidelines, manuals, etc.
• Ensure proper Administering of talent acquisition and onboarding functions, transfer, promotion, compensation and performance management functions in compliance with governing policies and procedures of the Institution;
• Coordinating the functions of salary, staff benefits and pension administration as per approved HR Policies and Procedures Manual;
• Ensuring salary scale and staff benefits administration adheres to HR policies and procedures manual;
• Enforcing disciplinary measures and maintain harmonious work discipline and ensuring the maintenance of smooth management employee relations;
• Establishing modern personnel records management system and ensuring that all personnel files contain the necessary information regarding employees and are in safe custody;
• Conducting training need assessment, identifying areas of training or skill gaps, and developing training program in consultation with the concerned officials of the Institution;
• Ensuring the execution of training program using internal resources or outsourced training services;
• Preparing succession plan for key posts of the Institution and ensuring the proper execution of approved succession plan;
• Handling personnel grievances, undertaking the necessary investigations, and submitting recommendations to the management of the Institution;
• Ensuring that required human resource is timely availed for the different operations of the Institution;
• Providing advice to other organs of the Institution on matters related to human resource management functions; and
• Preparing periodic reports on the human resource activities of the Institution.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
About You
• MA/BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management or related fields.
• A minimum of 8/10 years of relevant work experience, out of which 3 years in similar position preferably in MFI/Banks.
• Demonstrated leadership & HRM ability to inspire and empower others;
• Excellent and proven experience in strategic planning of human resource management;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies;
• Integrated knowledge and understanding of human resources concepts, practices, systems, and procedures;
• Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills;
• Firm belief in teamwork and gender equality;
• Computer proficiency.
