Our organization is guided by a Management Team which includes the Countries’ Directors. This role will focus on supporting the Finance Director in pursuing financial operational excellence whilst distilling key commercial insights across offices.

The role
Bopinc is seeking a Finance Business Partner who will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring our financial (and accounting) systems so that key commercial insights can be distilled in support of our global finance team. You will also be willing to travel to The Netherlands minimum of once or twice a year.
You will work closely with the Finance Director, Finance Manager, Financial Controller and countries’ Finance & Administration Officers. You are a detail-oriented individual who excels at meticulously managing tasks, while also focusing on improving processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
The general objective of this role is to develop, together with the Finance Director, an efficient and effective financial management system together with ensuring finance operational excellence.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the development and implementation of best financial practices.
2. Providing financial analysis to business unit management.
3. Assisting in preparation of the global budgeting process.
4. Balance sheet and P&L month-end reconciliations
5. Responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information where needed.
6. Production of the monthly business performance pack.
7. Reviewing month-end processes and deliveries to ensure all deliverables by the finance team are met as agreed on the Integrated Financial Calendar.
8. Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as part of the overall finance function and ongoing operational excellence.
9. Preparation of interim and year-end audit working papers and supporting the Finance Director during the audit of the Foundation.
10. Assist the Finance Director with internal audits for Country Offices.
11. Act as a backup for the Financial Controller, and Financial Manager and the wider Finance team.
12. Working closely with the Financial Director on Financial ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing financial operations for a reputable
- organisation.
- Knowledge of the local legal and tax system.
- Hands-on experience in the filing of local tax returns and with the management of VAT regulations, dealing with local commercial banks and auditors.
- Experience with financial management systems, project applications, invoicing, payment and reporting.
- Experience with automating the accounting environment and experience with ERP accounting systems.
- Excellent English writing plus verbal communication skills and capability to work remotely with the finance team in the Netherlands and financial advisors locally.
- Drive to succeed in your role as Finance Business Partner and be able to work independently on your own tasks, service minded and enjoy supporting the team on all daily financial activities.
