Purpose Of Job
We are seeking a dynamic, persuasive and customer-oriented General Marketing & Product Specialist to join our pharmaceutical team to persuade health care equipment and medical products. In this role, the position holder will support the development and implementation of marketing strategies that enhance the product offerings, engage customers, and drive sales growth. He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and product management.

Reporting to:  Director, Alliance Medical Solutions (AMS) Division ?

Starting Date:  Immediately after contract agreement concluded

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with product managers to assist in the development and refinement of products based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Design and execute effective marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, and print) to promote products and services.
  • Develop engaging content, including product descriptions, blog posts, social media posts, and promotional materials that communicate the value of the products.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with sales, product management, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience.
  • Foster relationships with customers by providing exemplary support and gathering feedback to enhance future marketing efforts.
  • Assist in planning and executing promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in medical legislation to determine the effect it may have on company sales.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase product sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  • Negotiate strategically the terms of sale with customers to close sales.
  • Presenting company products to potential and existing customers and persuading them to make purchases.
  • Identifying customers’ needs and recommending company products that best fulfill those needs.
  • Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent after-sales service.
  • Researching competitors’ products, pricing, and market success.
  • Preparing sales reports as well as territory analyses and submitting them to management

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • MD in pharmaceutical, Medical Science, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of practical experience in marketing of medical equipment, product management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.
Other Skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), email marketing, and social media strategies is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical product sale.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
