TITLE: Health project Coordinator
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Health and Nutrition
CONTRACT LENGTH: 5 months with possibility of extension
GRADE: 3B
CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; ore because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. |
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Health Project coordinator is responsible for coordinating the implementation of Hilton Foundation by integration with RRS and DPO in refuges and other government sectors and partners in host community, participated in development of detailed project implementation plan, follow up of project implementation, results based monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance, under his supervision. He/ She work closely with RHB and ZHO, DPO and RRS team to quality of health service delivery for refuge and host community. S/he is also responsible for project staff management including development of performance objective, continuous follow-up, capacity building and support program officer, and conduct performance appraisal. The project coordinator will also provide technical guidance and capacity building support to health facilities staff, RHB, RRS, DPO and Woreda Health Offices at the project implementation Woredas/ refugee camps. S/he will be responsible to document implementation lessons and best practices to improve project implementation as well as inform new business development
