Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Human resource and operations officer
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and processes in line with organizational goals.
- Provide consistent and efficient HR services to staff.
- Manage the Human Resources and Administration team, overseeing people planning, need assessment, performance, and well-being.
- Provide technical support capacity building need assessment, and capacity building to staffs, ensuring alignment with MJE policies.
- Support talent acquisition, retention, and employee motivation strategies.
- Assist in recruitment by developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and ensuring timely hiring.
- Oversee on-boarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring they are familiar with organizational processes.
- Support the performance management system by assisting in setting objectives and conducting evaluations.
- Provide guidance to staff and managers on HR best practices and performance issues.
- Facilitate staff development programs, coaching, and career growth.
- Coordinate with external networks to attract top candidates and implement best HR practices.
- Prepare bimonthly and quarterly HR reports on key activities.
- Assist with the implementation of new HR initiatives and strategies in line with the organization’s objectives.
- Support compensation, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Assist in contract administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and pension contributions.
- Manage exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain HR system and assist with generating HR reports.
- Promote gender diversity in all recruitment and HR practices.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Perform other HR-related duties as required.
- Oversee daily operations at Marry Joy Ethiopia’s clinic and Hospital.
- Develop and implement operational and Human resource policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with medical staff and department heads.
- Properly manage and conduct regular follow up for hospitals resource.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation.
- Lead operational and HR quality improvement initiatives.
- Optimize patient flow processes by coordinating non-clinical staffs and communicating with medical director.
- Follow the Maintenance of facility infrastructure and develop, implement a preventive Maintenance SOP.
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders.
- Perform any responsibility given by manager
About You
Educational Requirements: –
- University Degree/College in Management, Business Administration, or related.
- Preferred experience & skills:
- 2 years of relevant experience for postgraduates, 4 years of experience for degree holders.
- Experience in facilitating and providing training/orientations is preferable.
- Similar experience in Private or Government Hospital is preferable.
- Able to perform in stressful situation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate, especially in PowerPoint, MS Word and MS excel.
- Excellent in English and Amharic both speaking & writing.
