Job Description
Background:
JSI is a US-based public health nonprofit organization committed to delivering high-quality technical and managerial assistance programs worldwide. With over 25 years of experience in Ethiopia, JSI has implemented over 60 projects, focusing on improving health outcomes, quality, and equity in access to reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH) services. JSI has actively contributed to various areas, including primary health care, community health programs, digital health, health information systems (HIS), supply chain management, public health emergency responses, and social and behavior change.
JSI invites sealed bids from registered suppliers under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as per the details below

– Management of traumatic injuries (fractures, burns, spinal injuries). |
– Hemorrhage control, including tourniquet application and wound packing. | |
Critical Incident Response | – Handling cases of shock, poisoning, hypothermia, and heatstroke. |
– Emergency response during mass casualty incidents. | |
Field-Specific First Aid | – Snakebite, insect stings, and environmental injury management. |
– Preparing and using portable medical kits in remote locations. | |
Psychological
First Aid (PFA) |
– Managing stress and trauma in emergencies. |
Hygiene and Infection
Prevention |
– Basic infection control and handling infectious disease exposure. |
- Where a supplier wishes to participate for this bid must have license and register by the tax authority.
- The bidding documents may be collected by interested suppliers from JSI office. The bidder renewed Trade License for 2017 E.C, its Tax clearance certificate valid at submission of bids &, VAT registration certificate with tax payer registration certificate.
- This invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders fulfilling the above criteria and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the RFP. The RFP is prepared in English Language.
- Bids must be delivered to the above office or deposited in the Tender Box situated at the JSI Country office before the closing date on January 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM
- JSI reserves its rights to reject any or all bids.
