MeQrez Health Services is a share company incorporated in October 2020 with the aim of strengthening the health sector of Ethiopia. Its primary focus is to have companies in the health sector to help alleviate the health burden of the country with projects such as General Hospital, Chain of Pharmacies, Imaging & Diagnosis Center, Import and Export of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables. MeQrez General Hospital is now looking to hire experienced candidates who are visionary to contribute a positive impact in team of MeQrez on the following job positions

01. Senior Accountant (Cost & Budget)

 The Company is seeking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Accountant (Cost & Budget) to join our team in the healthcare industry. These role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong analytical skills focusing on enhancing patient satisfaction and fostering a supportive healthcare environment.

  • Salary: – As per Company scale and benefit packages.
  • Place of work: – Addis Ababa.
  • Closing Date: – Seven consecutive days including Saturday from date of this announcement (July 24th 2025)
  • Term of Employment: – Unlimited period (permanent) up on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

Major duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, prepare, and monitor annual operating and capital budgets for various departments within the healthcare facility.
  • Prepare cost of items, maintain accurate cost accounting records, ensuring that all costs are allocated correctly to departments and services.
  • Analyze costs associated with services, procedures, and departmental operations to identify trends and variances.
  • Control inventory management including the reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that detail budget performance, including variances and explanations.

About You

Required skills and qualifications

  • BA Accounting & Finance or related fields with at least four years demonstrated work experience preferably in Health Care Industry.

Additional skills:

  • IFRS & Peachtree training, Comprehensive knowledge of Cost & Budget

The Company is seeking for motivated and customer-oriented staff on the following job positions. These role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong analytical skills focusing on enhancing patient satisfaction and fostering.

  • Location: Addis Ababa

Major duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive and timely process sales enquiries from customers with consultation of immediate supervisor or head.
  • Promote and sell health and wellness products, including imported pharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Educate customers on health topics, preventive care, and the benefits of various health products.
  • Follows up and collect receivables on-time from customers.
  • Conduct a regular market analysis.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and care.

About You

  • BA Degree in Pharmacy with at least 3 years relevant work experience.

03. Cashier Accountant

 The Company is seeking for motivated and customer-oriented staff on the following job positions. These role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong analytical skills focusing on enhancing patient satisfaction and fostering.

  • Salary: – As per Company scale and benefit packages.
  • Location: Addis Ababa

Major duties & Responsibilities

  • Process sales invoice.
  • Process cash or credit, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently for pharmaceutical transactions.
  • Maintain and reconcile cash drawers, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Prepare daily cash reports and deposit summaries for review by management.
  • Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Ensure original invoices are maintained properly signed and sealed.
  • Collect daily cash sales and deposit the company bank account.
  • Collect postdated checks form the check collector.
  • Track records and collect credit sales from the respective customers.
  • Prepare weekly sales and purchase reports.
  • Ensure all customers sign on sales contract agreement and maintain the same properly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure accurate inventory management and financial reporting.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account discrepancies with professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to the pharmaceutical supply chain.
