SALARY RANGE | Gross monthly salary of ETB 9,667 – ETB 10,806 plus ETB 4,320 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates’ qualification, experience and earning history |
Purpose of the Job:
To support in organizing and analyzing financial documents and accounts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded.
- Support in tracking and monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Support in preparation of reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist in analysis and reconciliation of bank statements and general ledgers.
- Prepare and file local compliance reporting, as necessary.
- Assist in reviewing expenses received.
- Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile and by billing discrepancies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
About You
- BA degree in Accounting and Finance
- Diploma/Level IV Certificate in Accounting and Finance
- 2 years of experience with BA
- 4 years of relevant experience with Diploma/Level IV
- Knowledge of IFMIS is a plus
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of Amharic is required.
- Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous
