Job Description
Mekdim Ethiopia National Association (MENA) is a national association of persons living with HIV and orphans due to HIV/AIDS .
MENA would like to hire qualified and experienced staff for prospective project that focuses on Social Accountability in Oromia regional state. The project is planned to be implemented in; Ilubabora, Buno Bedele and Jima Zones of Oromia National and Regional state to cover 16-24 Woredas.
The project requires one full time Social Accountability Project Monitoring and Evaluation Officer who will be located at MENA Jimma branch project coordination office
Job Description
- Provide technical leadership and support for monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management of the project.
- Ensure timely and complete reporting from the woreda level to the lead organization project coordinator(head office)
- Monitor and evaluate progress towards annual work plans, expected outputs, including selecting and monitoring progress in meeting indicators.
- Assist the Project coordinator in the preparation of work plans, refining of the logical framework, selection of indicators and annual implementation plans with a view towards the project’s M&E requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of quarterly progress reports, annual project report, and success stories for the social accountability Program.
- Collect data for annual M&E plan and use those data to improve project performance.
- Develop a detailed annual work plan to build technical and managerial capacity of its sub partner(s)
Terms of Employment: One year with possible extension

Job Requirements
Required Qualification:
- MA/MSC/BA/BSC Degree in Sociology, Economics, Demography, statistics and related fields with more than five years relevant experience or BA/BSC with seven years relevant experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of development projects.
