Asociación Amigos de Silva is an international humanitarian organization registered in Ethiopia since 2007. Our mission is to bridge the gap between developing and developed countries through projects focused on water supply, education, food security, and health infrastructure. We aim for sustainability in all our initiatives, empowering communities to manage and maintain the resources provided.
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in agriculture to lead our sustainable farming initiatives. If you are passionate about enhancing agricultural productivity and community development, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage agricultural projects from start to finish.
- Engage with local farmers and stakeholders to promote best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on crop and cattle management.
- Monitor project progress and evaluate outcomes.
- Manage budgets and identify funding opportunities.
- Keep relationships with the local and regional authorities.
- Report to the Country Director
Salary range: Negotiable
About You
- Degree in Agriculture or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in agriculture.
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices; cattle management expertise is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project management software, etc.
