The majority of South Omo’s children are semi pastoralists who experience high rates of child marriage and extremely vulnerable to recurrent droughts, which leads to malnutrition, limited access to education, and limited access to health services, especially for women and children. In addition, a number of humanitarian programs are implemented in the area (HTP) even though they are not fully integrated.
