Job Description
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and functionality of company facilities, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards.
- Manage space allocation, infrastructure upgrades, and energy efficiency projects.
- Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Monitor the performance of technical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and oversee corrective actions and repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for technical and maintenance needs.
- Maintain an updated inventory of company assets and equipment.
- Oversee the acquisition, utilization, and disposal of assets in line with organizational policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure asset integrity and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct safety training sessions.
- Coordinate inspections and audits with regulatory bodies.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage relationships with internal departments to align facilities operations with organizational needs.
- Prepare and present reports on facilities and technical operations to senior management.
- Supervise and guide facilities and technical staff, providing training and mentorship.
- Monitor team performance and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, technical operations, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
