Job Description
Frontieri PLC is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow specializing in Public Health to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the development of technical proposals for policy-oriented research across health, nutrition, WASH, gender, and related sectors. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to address critical social challenges through evidence-based research.
Key Responsibilities
· Review and contribute to Terms of Reference (ToRs) and related documents.
· Conduct comprehensive literature and desk reviews.
· Develop competitive research and project proposals with team collaboration.
· Design research methodologies and develop data collection tools.
· Produce high-quality research reports, policy briefs, and academic publications.
· Coordinate and facilitate fieldwork activities, ensuring progress and quality standards.
· Innovate research approaches and methodologies as needed.
· Provide technical support and capacity building for project teams.
· Manage project implementation within timelines and budget.
· Represent Frontieri at meetings, conferences, and other forums.
· Maintain confidentiality of research data and organizational information.
· Support client relationship management and contribute to service excellence.
· Collaborate across divisions to achieve organizational goals.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
About You
Qualifications
· PhD in Public Health or related field.
· Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in research or consultancy settings.
· Proven experience in preparing technical proposals and managing research projects.
· Experience with international and national research institutions is preferred.
· Strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
· Familiarity with statistical and qualitative analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, ATLAS.ti, KOBO).
· Experience managing large-scale surveys and project teams.
· Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.
