Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team. The Structural Engineers are primarily concerned with designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare structural, sanitary, and electrical drawings.
- Manage multiple projects in office and on site effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
- Technical delivery of structural engineering design on various types of projects that you are assigned.
- Create structural models and drawings by using computer aided design software like CAD, ETABS, STTAD, SAP and other related.
- Collaborating with architects’ engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Implementing quality control measures to meet project requirements.
- Resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
- Practical experience in design and detailing related codes.
- Monitor and track project costs against the initial estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare Bills of quantity (BOQ) for construction projects based on available architectural and structural drawings.
About You
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years proven work experience in Structural Engineer,
- Strong knowledge of structural software like CAD, ETABS, STTAD, SAP and other related software’s.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficient in relevant software tools for cost estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
