Job Description

ASOCIACIÓN AMIGOS DE SILVA is seeking to incorporate an Assistant Project Manager into our team. In this role, you will work closely with our staff to support Project planning, execution, and monitoring activities. The Assistant Project Manager will ensure the timely and successful delivery of Project goals, including assisting in writing Project progress reports and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist in scheduling meetings and preparing agendas, maintain Project documentation and filing systems.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between Project team members and stakeholders, Prepare regular Project updates and reports.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and implementation of Project activities and monitor Project progress and assist in tracking deliverables.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in writing Project proposals to secure funding or support, collaborate with the team to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports summarizing Project activities, progress, and outcomes and ensure reports are distributed to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research as needed to support Project initiatives and collect and analyse data relevant to Project objectives.
  • Other Duties: Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for Project improvement and assist with any other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.

Reporting to: Project Manager/Country Director

Duration: Full time, temporary contract min. 2 years.

Salary: According to the internal regulations and skills

About You

Job Requirements

  • Education: University Degree, relevant field, e.g., Project management, business administration, etc.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in assistant Project coordination or related fields.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project management software, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
