Terms of Reference (ToR) for Consultancy Service to Develop Disability Inclusive Training Manual Covering Organizational Management, Leadership, and Financial Management

Job Description

Organizational Background

Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) is an Ethiopian Development Organization established in 2005 and registered at Agency for Civil Society Organizations as Ethiopian Development Organization with Certificate no. 0321 under the Proc. No. 1113/2019.

ECDD is working with other organizations to promote and facilitate the inclusion of persons with disabilities and disability issues in mainstream service delivery and development programs envisioning an Inclusive Ethiopia where persons with disabilities exercise the same rights and have access to the same services and opportunities enjoyed by other citizens.

With the support of The Leprosy Mission International Ethiopia (TLMI-E), ECDD is currently implementing a consortium project entitled “We are Able!” in four Woredas of East Hararghe Zone in Oromia National Regional State, Dire Dawa City Administration, Harari National Regional State and three Sub Cities of Addis Ababa City Administrations. The project was designed to strengthen Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Organizations for Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) in their lobby and advocacy for sustainable and inclusive access to basic resources, contributing to improved food security.

In this regard, ECDD is seeking a professional consultancy firm or company to develop a disability inclusive training manual covering organizational management, leadership, and financial management. This initiative aims to strengthen Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) to ensure their inclusive food security and uphold the rights of persons with disabilities.

Purpose

The purpose of developing a training manual covering organizational leadership, management, and financial management is to build the capacity of local Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and enhance their effectiveness in advocating for inclusive development.

About You

Selection Criteria

The Technical and Financial Proposals will account for 70% and 30% respectively of the selection criteria, broken down as follows:
